Plush Progress

I have finally finished up with my classes for this quarter, and I am enjoying my free time. And of course free time equals crocheting! This is the little guy I am working on, a little cyclops. I'm using some fairly bright colors with him that includes a light yellow for his face and limbs, a fuzzy autumn orange for his fur, and aqua blue for his eye color, his little horns, and claws. I'm loving the contrast of colors. :)
Here is a picture that shows the size difference of Fluffles, Cyclops, and Little Yeti.

Monsters And A Robot

There are a couple of new additions to my plush army.

^ Little Yeti, yes that is his name. I'm not very creative with names haha. He is about half the size of Fluffles making him a much more portable monster. I wouldn't mention his shortness to him though, if you do he might just attack.

^BeepBop is his name, Bop for short. If his battery gets low it can always be recharged with hugs. :)

^ Stuffles is his name. This little monster likes to act tough, he is really a sweetheart though. Don't tell him I told you guys that.

A Day In The Adverage Life Of Scott And Rachel

Be warned...  This is a silly story I wrote invovling me, my boyfriend, an angry grizzly bear, and a bowl of popcorn:

Once opon a time there was a Rachel who loved a Scott. One day they were laying on a couch huggleing and nomming on popcorn when suddenly an angry grizzly bear with a funny mustashe shattered the sliding glass door. Mr.Angry Bear let out a furious roar! Scott and Rachel glanced over at him and then resumed eating their popcorn mindlessly. "How dare you ignore me!" Angry bear squeled. Scott chuckled "aww is little girly bear gonna cry?". Mr. Angry bear was quite offended and charged at Scott snaching him off the couch and throwing him over his shoulder. "Because of your rudeness I'm going to throw you in the VOLCANO OF PAIN" Angry bear shouted.
As he darted out the shattered door Rachel blankly stared after him. Jeeves the panda buttler walked into the room and slapped her. "oh yeah, your right Jeeves, we should probally save him". Rachel hopped on Jeeves' back while he activated his Super Powered Rocket Feet, And they flew through the sky towards the VOLCANO OF PAIN. They Spotted Mr. Angry Bear nearing the top of the volcano carrying a very bored looking scott. "HEY YOU! Drop my super cute boyfriend or I'll *intense looking face* DESTROOOOY YOU" Rachel threatened. She hopped off of jeeves' back and reached into her pockets. She then quickly pulled out her to glowing crochet hooks of doooom!
Angry bear laughed loudly "I'm not scared of you tiny human girl!" Rachel began to crochet so quickly her hands were a blur, then what seemed like out of nowhere there stood a giant crochet Chameleon. The Chameleon shot its tounge out at Mr.Angry Bear and ripped off his Mustashe. Mr. Angry bear let go of Scott and fell to his knees. "Oh no not my mustashe! I'm powerless without it!" he cried. Scott kicked angry bear in the shin and mummbled "your such a girly bear". Then he climbed up on Gaint Crochet Chameleon's back and said "lets go home and finish that popcorn".
-THE END-

A Day Out With Fluffles.

My little creation, Fluffles, got tired of being cooped up in the house with me so he insisted on going out for a walk before I started on my essay for school. He is quite the outdoorsmen (outdoorsmonster?). I couldn't resist his power of cuteness and caved in.

He ran all around the woods climbing trees and hiding from me, he completely tired himself out. So, when we got home he suggested that I make us some popcorn and watch alittle T.V.

Happy Valentines Day!

I made this blog awhile back and then just sort of abandoned it, but I definitely want to try to update as much as possible now.

I hope everyone has a great day! I know a lot of people say they hate valentines day, but I think everyone can find a small way to enjoy it. Wether they spend it with their significant other, or just give cute little cards or gifts to family and friends to show them that you appreciate them.
I had a great one. I exchanged gifts with my boyfriend on saturday. I gave him a crochet monster made with his favorite colors, and he gave me a gaint heart shaped cookie and some cute and cuddley yarn!

Some people might not like yarn for a gift, but I loved it. :) It makes me smile super big to think of him going to a store and picking out yarn for me. I much prefer it over candy. I can't wait to make some adorable little creatures out of it.
Then today I gave him some cookies and a little handmade card. Maybe next time I go over to his house I will get a picture of the plush monster and card I gave him.

How was your valentines day? :)

Bean Bears

Bean shaped bears are one of my favorite things to make lately. For some odd reason I think stuffed animals look cuter without limbs. So I decided to leave Top Hat Bear without arms or legs. He is the first stuffed animal I made with the intention of keeping for myself. Even though his top hat was a pain to crochet I think it was a small price to pay for him to look classy ;).
Mustache Bear was meant for someone, but I decided that they didn't quite deserve his companionship, so now the poor little guy is lacking a home. Well I guess that means he will have to make due chilling on top of my dresser until he finds a suitable owner.
